-----Messaggio originale----- Amici e miei rappresentanti, Questi popoli fratelli e desiderosi di più feconda unione sono il popolo Spagnolo e quello Italiano. Indipendentemente da tutte le divisioni interne di piccolo respiro, la grande storia conferma solennemente che questo desiderio affonda vigorose radici nel cuore dei popoli di Italia e di Spagna. Oggi i popoli che soffrono e che stanno imparando ad urlare la loro disperazione, reclamano un grande paese capace di ascoltare, in una forte Europa capace di giustizia nella pace, che li abbracci a partire dalle nostre terre aperte come due braccia volte a sud nel Mediterraneo, per estendersi poi alle terre bagnate dagli oceani, dove i nostri padri hanno stampato il nostro nome ed hanno seminato il nostro invadente desiderio di amore. Guai se non risponderemo, noi. Diamo un primo fecondo esempio ai fratelli europei unendo politicamente, sotto un unico governo, la Repubblica Italiana ed il Regno di Spagna. Voi, saprete come fare, noi, io, ve lo chiediamo dal profondo del cuore, per la nostra felicità su questa nostra terra. G, Losio

Amigos y mis representantes, Esta gente, que se siente como hermanos, desea una unión más fecunda, es la gente española e italiana. Independientemente de todas las divisiones internas de pequeño respiro, la gran historia confirma solemnemente que este deseo hunde raíces vigorosas en el corazón de la gente de Italia y de España. Hoy la gente que sufren y que está aprendiendo gritar su desesperación, exige un gran país capaz de escuchar, en una Europa fuertemente capaz de construir la justicia en la paz, una Europa capaz de abrazarlos, comenzando de nuestros dos países, abiertos como dos brazos hacia el sur del mediterráneo, y después extender esto abrazo a las tierras bañadas de los océanos, donde nuestros padres han impreso nuestro nombre y han sembrado el nuestros deseo invasor de amor. Todos tendremos apuros grandes si no contestamos a eso. Demos un primer ejemplo fecundo a nuestros hermanos europeos, unificando políticamente bajo solamente un gobierno, la República Italiana y el Reino de España.
